For companies on Microsoft 365

Stop paying for seats nobody uses. Find them in 10 minutes, free.

Unused licences, former staff still licensed, idle Copilot seats and the security gaps around them, each one priced, with what to fix first. Your IT admin runs a small read-only check, and the report is saved on their computer.

  • Read-only
  • Runs on your admin's PC
  • No passwords shared
  • Report in about 10 minutes

Free during early access. No payment, no card. Ask for it and we email you the file. All we ask back is honest feedback. We sell no licences, so we gain nothing from the seats you keep.

See it first

Two minutes, from the request to a priced report

  1. You ask, we email the fileOne short form. Your IT admin gets one file and three steps.
  2. Your admin runs it onceRead-only, on their own computer, about ten minutes, nothing changed.
  3. You read a priced reportEvery unused licence in dollars a year, the security gaps ranked, and what to do first.

Everything in the video is the real review, run on a made-up company, Northwind Traders (115 users). Your own report shows your own numbers.

  1. The home page shows a sample from a made-up 115-user company: $9,132 a year wasted, and six high security risks.
  2. You ask for the review in a short form, and we email the one file and a three-step guide.
  3. Your IT admin runs it in PowerShell. A Microsoft sign-in window opens and they approve read-only access. Nothing is changed in Microsoft 365.
  4. The report opens on their computer: the waste by kind, per year, the security gaps worst first, your renewal date, and the five things to do first.
  5. Run again next month and the monthly check shows what was fixed, who joined and left, and whether the score went up.

Why now

Microsoft 365 got more expensive. Waste costs more too.

$14per user per month for Business Standard at renewals since 1 July 2026, up from $12.50
$21–30per user per month for each Copilot seat, whether anyone uses it or not
Every montha former employee keeps a licence until someone removes it
What we check

Nine places money and risk hide

Money

Unassigned licences

Licences you pay for that nobody has been given.

Money

Desktop apps nobody opens

People on a more expensive plan than the way they actually work needs.

Money

Former staff

People who have left but still hold paid licences, and how to clear them safely.

Money

Inactive users

Licensed people who have stopped using what you pay for.

Money

Overlapping plans

People you pay for twice, because one plan already includes another.

Money

Idle Copilot seats

Copilot licences nobody is using, ready to reassign.

Security

Security gaps

The weaknesses attackers look for first, ranked by how much they matter.

Security

Outside apps and open settings

Outside apps that can read company mail, files or chats, and settings that let outsiders in without a password.

Deadline

Your renewal deadline

What the waste will cost you if nothing changes before your renewal date.

How it works

Two steps. The first one changes nothing.

Step 1 Review Read-only · about 10 minutes · free

  1. Ask for it

Fill in the short form below with your email. We reply with the one review file and a three-step guide to forward to your admin. No call to book, no payment.

  2. Your admin runs it once

They sign in to Microsoft in the normal window and approve read-only access. Nothing in your Microsoft 365 is changed.

  3. Your report is ready

It opens on their screen the moment it finishes and is saved on that computer, to forward to you. Every wasted licence priced, every risk ranked, and what to do first.

Your report opens with a single health score out of 100, and the date you have to act by. When it runs again each month, the score shows whether things got better or quietly drifted back.

Step 2 Clean up Optional · only what you approve

Yourself, by hand

Your admin follows the steps under each finding in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Any admin who can manage licences can do it, and nothing else is needed. Tips for doing it by hand

With our help Coming later

We will go through the findings with you and make the changes you approve, alongside your admin. Not available yet.

Whichever way, nothing changes until you approve it.

Safe by design

We never need your passwords

  • The review is read-only: nothing in your Microsoft 365 is changed.
  • Clean-up is a separate, optional step, and only what you approve, line by line.
  • Runs on your admin's own computer, signed in through Microsoft's own sign-in.
  • We never keep access to your Microsoft 365: the sign-in ends when the review finishes, and the report is saved on your admin's computer.
  • No email content, files or passwords are accessed.
  • Before running anything, your admin can print the exact list of what it reads — without signing in.
  • You decide what to share with us.
  • Anything shared is deleted within 30 days of your report.

For your IT admin: check the file before running it

In PowerShell, in the folder where you saved it, run this. It prints True only when your copy is byte for byte the one we tested:

(Get-FileHash .\Invoke-M365Review.ps1 -Algorithm SHA256).Hash -eq 'AB204B06594278DF25121B8B43DE488C631EB07ECFD192F590455301D336C8D9'

The fingerprint is AB204B06594278DF25121B8B43DE488C631EB07ECFD192F590455301D336C8D9. The script prints it too, before it signs in to anything, when run with -ShowPermissions. The email we send says the same. If anything does not match, do not run it — email us. The run page has the full steps, and the privacy page lists every permission it asks Microsoft for.

Questions

Before you start

What access do you need?

None for us. We never touch your Microsoft 365 and never hold a password of yours. Your own admin runs the check on their own computer, signed in as a Global Administrator, or as an account holding the Global Reader, Reports Reader and Security Reader roles. Microsoft shows them the exact read-only permissions before they approve anything, and the first run may need a Global Administrator to approve them.

Why do I have to ask for it?

So we know who has it, can tell you when there is a newer version, and can ask how it went. It is not sold or passed on, and your email is used only to reply: see privacy. The file is the same for everyone.

Do we have to talk to anyone?

No. Ask on this page, and forward our reply, with the one file and the three steps, to whoever manages your Microsoft 365. The report is saved on that computer the moment it finishes, for them to forward to you. Nobody has to book anything or sit on a call.

Can it remove the licences for us?

Not yet: the review only reads, and needs only read-only permissions. Afterwards the owner marks each line in the Excel workbook that comes with the report, and your admin makes those changes by hand: each finding says where to click, and the clean-up page has tips that save trouble. A clean-up tool that makes them for you is coming soon, and having us help is coming later.

We're on an annual contract. Can we still save?

Yes. Leavers' and inactive users' licences can be reassigned right away, and extra licences can be cut at renewal. The report shows which is which.

We are on Business Basic / Business Standard. Does this still work?

Yes. It works on every Microsoft 365 business and enterprise plan, including Business Basic and Business Standard. Those plans do not include the sign-in dates that come with Microsoft Entra ID P1, so the review reads Microsoft 365's own usage reports instead. The report says exactly what it was able to check.

Do you work with companies in India?

Yes. The report you run yourself prices the waste at Microsoft's US list prices, in dollars, and says so. Check them against your own Microsoft invoice.

Why is it free? What is the catch?

It is new, and it has not been in front of many companies yet. Honest feedback from people who actually use it is worth more to us right now than money is, so that is the trade: you get the review, we get told what to change. Nothing about the report is held back - you get all of it, and you keep everything it finds. If it ever costs money, this page will say so before you ask for it.

What happens after the review?

Waste comes back as people join and leave. Run it again in a month, from the same folder: it compares itself with your last report, flags new waste and security gaps, and tracks what has been removed so far and the seats waiting to be cut at your renewal.
